As a HR Systems Architect with Momentum, you'll play a key role in our team, collaborating closely with dynamic and talented individuals. You'll contribute to helping manage the development and administration of our HRIS and other People & Culture team tools. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing an architecture strategy in a collaborative, innovative environment and be part of our mission to enable, accelerate, and empower our partners at Momentum companies, allowing them to deliver best-in-class solutions for their customers. A Day In The Life of this Role at Momentum

As a HR Systems Architect on our Enterprise Systems team at Momentum, your days will be dynamic and filled with opportunities to contribute to our mission. Here's a glimpse into what your typical day might look like:

  • Reviewing and solutioning the current systems and their utilization for improvements in functionality or drafting up training materials for internal users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like People & Culture, IT, Business Operations and other business units to understand requirements, gather feedback, and strategize on solutions that align with business needs and goals for ongoing or future features on the roadmap.
  • Plan and lead meetings with various teams to follow up on deliverables related to system updates or new configurations and identify and help resolve any blockers to keep committed timelines.
  • Provide leadership to oversee and delegate tasks from a ticket queue for providing technical support related to key HR system issues and data inquiries. 
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and partners across the Momentum team to design the right reports and dashboards within Workday and provide insights into various metrics and trends.
  • Drive the strategy to design and document the system architecture and functionality for use by end users or other team members. 
  • Dedicate time to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new features in Workday to proactively identify areas for improving processes or enhancing the system with new features, and anticipating solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to one or more HR Systems team members to support and ensure effective execution of responsibilities and team growth and development. 

Qualifications:

We’re looking for someone who:

Holds a Bachelor's degree ideally in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience with leading design, configuration, testing, and post implementation support for multiple functional areas of Workday implementations with experience doing integrations, data conversion, security configuration, documenting processes, building reports, and change management communication.
  • Full suite knowledge and experience with Workday Human Resource Management, Benefits, Talent Management, Payroll, Workforce Planning, Projects, Recruiting, and Time Tracking.
  • Workday pro certified (preferred).

Strong understanding of HR processes and practices.Understand the full HR technology landscape and how it relates to HR related systems and their interactions with other systems (e.g., ERP, Learning Management, Finance, CRM)

  • Has a demonstrated history of system architecture design for growing organizations.
  • Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with US and Global data privacy laws, GDPR and compliance
  • Has the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of HR processes and practices with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment, navigating ambiguity and remaining agile.

When considering experience for this role, we typically find a great fit with candidates who have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the specified field. Additionally, experience in a holding company and/or in a start-up environment is a definite plus.

The base salary range for this position may vary based on location. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions. The People & Culture team will provide specific details during the hiring process.
