The role of the Compliance Specialist is to ensure company compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate must have a warm, friendly personality that is focused on customer service. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to manage their time well, and interact in a friendly and professional manner with employees, clients and vendors.

· Assist in development and implementation of compliance programs

· Assist in monitoring business activities for compliance with applicable rules and regulations

· Assist with facilitating change of operating policies and procedures when regulations change

· Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies and complete required compliance documentation

· Scrub loan data against compliance reports to ensure data integrity for submission to regulatory agencies

· Assist in compiling loan data for submission to third party QC vendor

· Assist in analyzing QC findings for trends and change recommendations

· Assist with state and LO licensing and renewals

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High school diploma

· This is NOT a remote opportunity. Individuals hired must work out of our Sandy, Utah location

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Detail oriented, dependable, efficient and able to handle competing priorities effectively within established timeframes

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with employees, clients and vendors – must be able to work as part of a team

· Punctual, motivated, positive and hard working with an ability to embrace change

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Knowledge and experience with Encompass LOS and mortgage compliance regulations
