Seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage payroll processing, respond to inquiries, ensure accuracy in all payroll-related tasks, and assist the Human Resources Manager with Benefits management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with payroll data processing
• Respond promptly to email and voicemail inquiries
• Investigate and correct payroll data errors efficiently
• Perform administrative duties such as auditing timesheets, resolving errors, and filing
• Employee onboarding and termination processes
• Handle state unemployment requests, VOEs, and disability claims
• Collect and distribute HR mail daily
• Assist with various payroll-related mailings
• Assist with Employee Benefits programs
• Support special projects related to payroll
• Provide basic assistance with employee relations
• Manage leaves of absences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data entry Experience
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing
• Familiarity with payroll processing guidelines
• Understanding of Wage & Hour laws, FLSA, and wage payment guidelines
• UKG Pro Experience
• CPP Certification

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or higher education
• Experience in conflict resolution and customer service
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act urgently when needed
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain confidentiality
• Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities
• Strong organizational, technical, analytical, and mathematical skills
• Proficient in Excel
