Mom N Tot Spot in Englewood, NJ is looking for one indoor play space activity and play attendant to join our 5 person strong team. We are located on 155 N Dean St. Our ideal candidate is comfortable and experienced being around toddlers, high energy, self-driven, motivated, and engaged.

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-directed Indoor Playground Attendants who are passionate about working with children and creating a fun and engaging experience. As an Attendant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that children have a memorable time at our facility. You will lead and supervise various activities, including games, arts and crafts, and more, and make each visit a special adventure for our young guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Birthday Parties: Lead and assist in organizing and hosting birthday parties, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for children and their families. This includes setup, coordination of activities, and facilitating an entertaining and stress-free celebration.
• Kids Activities: Plan and lead children's activities such as dance games, freeze tag, musical chairs, and other interactive games that promote physical activity, creativity, and social engagement.
• Arts and Crafts: Organize and conduct arts and crafts sessions, encouraging children to express their creativity through various projects. This may include painting, drawing, and simple crafts.
• Supervision: Ensure the safety of children during open play sessions and activities. Be attentive to their needs and assist them as required.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with parents and caregivers, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and organized play area, ensuring that toys and equipment are sanitized and safe for use.

Qualifications:

• A passion for working with children and the ability to connect with kids of various age groups.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for leading and organizing children's activities.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently, taking the initiative to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for children and their families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in face painting (if applicable) is a plus.

Schedule: This is a part-time position that includes weekdays, weekends and occasional evenings, especially for birthday parties and special events. Mornings are required
