The Headlines:

This position will manage the portfolio of products, systems, and services that are delivered electronically from and through our HR function and GBS organization. This position partners closely with SME within the HR function, technical experts within our IT function, and the advanced analytics team.

The Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with HR function (HR COE SME’s and HRBP’s), IT, GBS, and Advanced Analytics

  • Process Mapping – ensuring that all of our process maps are fit for purpose & continually updated when changes are identified through regular process reviews. Identification at early stage, of task-based process improvement opportunities across the operational teams within the value streams. Work with respective GBS Center Process Leads, the NA functions to drive innovation in the process by continually benchmarking against leading practices and establishing ongoing initiatives to enhance capability and efficiency. Work with IT Business partners to co-develop the innovation roadmap for the processes. Manage maintenance of process flow documentation. Support the Business Process Owner in Design Authority reviews and discussions as needed.
  • Training and Expert User Management: - For the responsible sub-processes, ensure operating procedures are established to support execution; training materials are created and/or maintained to align with process changes. Lead network of Expert Users for sub-process area to support sustainment and on-going user adoption. Work with stakeholders in the process knowledge development and recognition of Expert user community.
  • GBS Center Interaction: Interact with respective GBS center process leads to collectively define, measure and optimize sub-processes across the enterprise ensuring that this optimization does not impact the overall end-to-end process functionality. Contribute to process deployments in business functions
  • HR technology OptimizationPartnering with a specific subset of our HR function and GBS organization to identify, fix, and learn from issues as well as proactively solutioning to train users and HR practitioners, and technology fixes to avoid issues and drive benefits in time efficiency and process efficacy. This also includes:
  • Provide production support, including researching, troubleshooting and resolving HR systems problems like report generation, documentation of process & system changes, management of system and data integrity including quality, accuracy, and usability of data and related interfaces. Interprets internal/external business issues & recommends best practices.
  • Collaborates on larger implementations, or leads smaller implementations, process improvements and innovative globally consistent solutions with the coordination of HR Stakeholders and IT team. Focused on continuous improvement. Be a steward of optimization (improve and transform) utilizing all HR systems to its fullest potential for optimized shared services processes. Ensures global view on system & process changes at local level. Consults and works with user groups to define information needs and availability /sources. Ensures ongoing training and development to build systems understanding within HR.
  • Assists in the global governance process – managing change requests according to established protocols.
  • Assists in the testing and impact analysis of all changes to HR systems including technical changes, special programming and upgrades. Ensure global data privacy compliance as relating to HRIS including establishing process steps and standardization of procedures.

The Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in HR, business or related curriculum, graduate degree preferred
  • 3 year of working with systems in a professional setting
  • General systems and technical knowledge, preferable with SuccessFactors
  • Able to successfully own and manage their own work accountability, while developing the capabilities of their team and strategically directing team work
  • Demonstrates effective influence & collaboration within and beyond the GBS/HR function / throughout the organization
  • Able to translate theory into strategy and strategy into actionable plans
