Mollie Stone's Markets is Hiring a Prep Cook Near Greenbrae, CA

About the Role:

Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for a Part Time Prep Cook at our Greenbrae location. The perfect candidate will be customer service driven and flexible working various tasks from day to day.

Essential Functions:

  • Give every customer immediate and undivided attention
  • Ensure that food quality, quantity, freshness, and presentation meet all kitchen and recipe guidelines
  • Ensure that walk-ins and freezers are clean, and products are stored properly
  • Know product availability, preparation, storage and nutritional aspects
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms, and meet all spoilage targets

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Individual must be able to follow recipe specifications as defined.
  • Must be able to handle food in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Serv-Safe certified is a plus!
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team; ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Local candidates only.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
