We are looking for a Traffic Control Lead in Seattle, WA to join our Traffic Control team.

For this role, we need individuals to be the leads on the job.

Responsibilities

• Understand the rules and regulations of MUTCD guidelines;
• Read a Traffic Control Plan (TCP) and implement the plans written;
• Give precise and direct instructions to the crew;
• Following safety rules, regulations, and procedures;
• Perform a walk-around with your truck to mark any damage and count your equipment;
• Fill out the timesheet and turn it in at the end of the day;
• Monthly task of truck inspections and logging them into Whip Around.
• Keep the truck clean and organized.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Traffic Control;
• Must have a current and valid flagger certification (ATSSA);
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s license;
• Must have a Clean DMV driving record;
• Ability to perform in adverse weather conditions;
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb, and bend under potentially adverse field conditions;
• Ability to perform visual tasks such as backup spotting and hear and react to backup alarms, per safety protocol;
• Being flexible and able to take and follow orders in an independent or group setting.
