The Mold-Masters (MM) Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the financial performance and risk management of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to the strategy and the ongoing monitoring and development of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate, timely financial results. This role also provides leadership and direction to organization’s finance team while partnering with senior leadership to drive business results. Work you will do: Oversees timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to assist the MM Leadership Team, MTS Leadership Team and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities Provides technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the enterprise Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the MTS CFO and MM President and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations Utilizes the Hillenbrand Operating Model and Lean mindset to continually improve the controllership environment Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory actions Enhances and/or develops, implements, and enforces policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization, i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and investments Other duties may be assigned Key Role Characteristics: The role requires high levels of sufficient critical thinking, experience defining, planning, and shaping strategies and initiatives that set direction for the organization The role is responsible for preserving the assets of the company by minimizing risk and maintaining tight financial controls and timely, accurate financial reports and analysis Business finance experience providing strategic and operational guidance to management M&A transaction (acquisition and divestiture) and subsequent integration experience Effectively manage and build high performing teams Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in accounting or finance; and a minimum of 10 years related accounting and controllership experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in accounting. CPA and MBA certifications preferred. Experience working in a publicly traded, US-corporate environment, and demonstrated financial management and reporting expertise with an advanced knowledge of US-GAAP Successfully operate in the complexity of a global matrix organization across businesses, regions, and hierarchy levels Ability to travel up to 15% of the time #LI-Remote Who we are: Mold-Masters is a global leader in the plastics industry.
