The Mohawk Homestead is actively seeking a motivated certified HHA or certified PCA to join our team for our Assisted Living Facility in Mohawk, NY.

Description:

• Provide residents with assistance with activities of daily living, including, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, and incontinence care as needed.

• Document appropriately provided cares.

• Observe residents and report any changes to the appropriate individual on duty.

• Respond to call bells and other signals and call for emergency services (911) when appropriate.

• Encourage and assist residents with attending of activities.

• Participate in activities as directed

Provide assistance with basic housekeeping items as needed

Hours/Shifts Available:

Part Time or Full Time available: 2 PM - 10 PM (requires every other weekend)

COVID-19:

All associates of The Mohawk Homestead are required by New York State Department of Health regulation to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Exceptions can be made based on medical exception as allowed by the New York State Department of Health.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Current HHA NY State Certification or PCA NY State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry

• Red Cross Standard First Aid Training required within 60 Days of Employment

Sign Up Bonus Eligibility

• $250 after 90 days

• $250 after 180 days
