Printing Press Operator Job Description:
- Perform complex set ups and change overs on flexographic printing machines
- Replace and maintain tooling, plates, and cylinders
- Review job specifications and monitor/troubleshoot during job runs
- Perform quality checks as the product is being produced
- Make necessary color corrections
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain the machines
- Flexographic machine operating experience or experience that could be considered equivalent within the printing industry
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, etc.
- Basic computer and math skills
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Able to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
