We are actively recruiting for Electronic Assembler candidates for a temp to hire opportunity with a global company and a globally recognized leader in the field of industrial automation. Interested candidates should have related manufacturing assembly experience, the ability to read and interpret written work instructions, and good dexterity.
Electronic Assembler Job Description:
  • Assemble subassemblies and/or final product following instructions from matrix documentation and SOPs.
  • Place, wire, solder, glue, connect and encapsulate PC boards and/or units.
  • Test, label, package, and deliver to stockroom.
  • Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for polarity and for operation, and record results.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Position, align, and adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
  • Complete, review, and maintain production, time, and component waste reports.
  • May confer with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, and to resolve production problems.
  • May explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
  • Other duties as assigned
Electronic Assembler Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing assembly experience
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Must be able to read and understand English
  • Ability to use a computer, hand tools, gauges, and testers
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day to perform hand solder with hot soldering iron, inspect boards under a microscope, make simple repairs, etc.
  • Uses microscope for precision work and to perform inspections.
  • Perform simple hand grasp and dexterity required to solder, encapsulate, correct defects, hold tools, etc.
  • Ability to move, carry, or lift objects or materials weighing up to 30 pounds frequently

Compensation for the Electric Assembler:
The starting salary for this position is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour (Depending on experience).
