TITLE: Plumber I
REPORTS TO: Foreman - Plumber
JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is considered to be an entry level laborer position that has limited to no experience or knowledge in the HVAC industry or plumbing. This position is responsible for the less technical work on the job site such as carrying equipment, assisting in plumbing install and maintaining the cleanliness of the site. This technician does not function unsupervised in any situation.
· General site clean-up.
· General knowledge of wet-side commercial applications and design preferred but not required.
· Assist in the lay out, assembly, install, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
· Assist in the repair and replacement of plumbing systems, supports, and equipment.
· Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.
· 1 to 3 years’ experience in the construction industry preferred but not required.
· Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Work to increase personal growth and knowledge of plumbing applications.
· Self-starter, high energy level.
· Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Also requires frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.
