Custodian (PT)
Responsibilities
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Restock supplies in restrooms and break room
- Report any maintenance issues to the department Director
- Follow all safety and security procedures
- Use equipment and materials properly
- Place dirty dishes, cups, utensils in racks for dishwasher; empties dishwasher and stores clean dishes
- Returns unused food to MMC main kitchen
- Sweeps and mops the floor (restrooms, kitchen, storage area, activity areas)
- Rearranges furniture and equipment when requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
