Modern Builders is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Janesville, IA

Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all aspects of Modern Builders, Inc’s projects from start to finish. This position will organize and oversee all construction procedures and ensure they are completed promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. They must be able to think analytically as well as have great organization skills. Their goal will be to make sure all projects are delivered on time according to the project’s specified requirements and without exceeding the budget.

Job Duties:

· Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.

· Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.

· Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.

· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.

· Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.

· Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.

· Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.

· Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in construction project management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a team of professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask as well as
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
