Job Description: Golf Shop Assistant

The Golf Shop Assistant at Moccasin Creek Country Club will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our members and guests. This position will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the golf shop, including managing merchandise inventory, processing transactions, and providing information to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with their needs, including selecting merchandise, answering questions, and booking tee times.
• Process transactions accurately using the point of sale system.
• Manage merchandise inventory, including receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and conducting periodic inventory counts.
• Assist with organizing and running golf events, tournaments, and outings.
• Ensure the golf shop is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Golf Shop Manager.

Qualifications:

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of golf and golf equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
