JOB SUMMARY:

The Practice Manager enhances and promotes Mobile Medical’s mission through oversight of practice operations, and growth, and ensures quality, safe, and cost-effective services to patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience that serves as equivalent.
• Primary care or health care background required
• Healthcare Administration and/or Practice Management required
• Primary care office management preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and other health care professionals.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervision/Management/Leadership

• Oversight of practice operations to ensure compliance with company, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain practice operations within budget.
• Process payroll.
• Maintain and update organizational charts as needed.
• Maintain job descriptions.
• Manage preceptor contracts.
• Assessing staffing needs with Office Managers and Clinical Managers to proactively hire.
• Develop and implement the practice’s mission and strategic vision in conjunction with the Executive Director.
• Implementing and coordinating the practice’s business plans between the office staff and providers in the field.
• Recommend, develop, and implement improvements for the practice.
• Report to the Executive Director about current trends and problems to facilitate policy making.
• Establish, secure approval for, and oversee practice operating policies and procedures.
• Handle public relations issues in conjunction and consultation with the Executive Director and the company’s legal counsel.

Human Resources

• Ensure employees have job descriptions and update as required for changing needs and job roles.
• Maintain HR files on employees.
• Track applicable licensure for clinical employees.
• Any other duties as assigned in response to the growth of the company and in recognition of employee strengths.
