MN Nice Cream is a well established, vibrant, fast-paced destination soft serve ice cream shop. Currently, we have 2 brink and motor locations and a bustling ice cream truck catering business. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere fostering passion and creativity.

We are looking to fill the Store Manager position at our Stillwater location. This position has flexibility in working 4- 10 hour shifts a week that would be required Friday-Monday (yay 3-days off!). Open to other scheduling needs, and are willing to work with you!

Job Description:

As Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations and overall success of our thriving soft-serve business. You will ensure the efficient functioning of all aspects of the store, including customer service, team management, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. This is a hands-on position that requires a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain and troubleshooting machines and other equipment.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to uphold high standards of performance and customer service.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, conducting regular inventory counts, and minimizing waste.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, including work areas, equipment, and display areas.
• Assist with scheduling and labor management to optimize staffing levels and maintain efficient operations.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards to ensure the health and safety of customers and team members.
• Act as a positive role model and promote a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Transporting stock from commissary kitchen to store, errands as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years in a leadership or management role (or equivalent experience).
• Hand-on leader!
• Previous experience in the food service or retail industry (not required), preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) is preferred but not required.
• Passion for customer service and a love for ice cream!
