To strengthen our motivated Newmarket Team, we are looking for a passionate, pro-active and business savvy HR Business Partner!

Your Role

• Building trusted relationships with all site based & UK & Ireland stakeholders
• Development of a localised People Plan, provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to drive focused performance improvements (including proactive management of workforce planning, headcount management, overtime and temporary labour challenge organisational structure and actively design improvements when required)
• Management of annual HR calendar cyclic processes such as talent review, performance management, pay review and local bonus
• Assisting in building strong talent pipelines and managing recruitment of key roles
• Coaching and mentoring first line managers to ensure ownership of ‘HR as a line manager’
• Proactive management of complex employee relations issues and address grievances in line with MM Policies & Procedures
• Support the Managing Director, Newmarket with quarterly and annual budget review processes
• Support the monthly management meetings with Regional Leadership from a HR perspective
• Working with the site Employee Engagement Focus Group to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
• Manage all administrative processes for site using the current HRIS systems in place

Your Profile

• Proven stand-alone HR generalist experience ideally in a manufacturing environment 
• Good influencing and management coaching skills
• Strong ability to be self-motivated and pro-active
• Must have strong understanding of UK employment law and legislation
• Ability to actively engage with a variety of stakeholders across the business
• Business savvy and ability to understand the operations/business model supported
• CIPD Level 5 accreditation or equivalent experience level
• HRIS administration experience(Ceridian Dayforce/ SAP Successfactors desirable)
