Job consists of the receiving, storing, and transporting of products in warehouse. Shipping and receiving clerks must have good record-keeping skills and an attention to detail. Forklift certification is a plus. Personnel will be in a fast paced demanding environment requiring the ability to perform multiple tasks at once. Must be an organized person with proficient computer skills and be able to take directions.

DUTIES & TASKS

• Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near warehouse plant or worksite.
• Examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and other records.
• Route incoming shipments/goods to respective departments.
• Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order.
• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or fork lift
• Prepares products for shipment
• Prepares identifying information/ shipping instructions on containers
• Pulls stock orders
• Assist with front parts counter when needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This position requires sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, climbing, moving, and reaching/working overhead.
• Ability to safely lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• This position is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and moderate noise levels. Appropriate PPE gear must be worn as required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment WorkSTEPS physical.
• Requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen to the satisfaction of McClung-Logan Equipment Company.
• Must a possess a clean MVR & valid Driver's License
• This job requires the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma

• Ability to operate a forklift, certification preferred

• Proficient utilizing computers including Microsoft products.

• 3 years’ experience in warehouse with working knowledge of inventory control software preferred
