A Day in Your Life at MKS :

As an Service Support Technician I at MKS Instruments, you will partner with service to evaluate, and repair RF Generators.

In this role, you will report to the Sr Manager, Service. This is a third shift position.

You Will Make an Impact By :

• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures.
• Determines most cost effective repair / resolution to minimize customer downtime.
• Troubleshoot RF generator boards to component level.
• Use electronics equipment to test the RF generator to the manufacturing specifications.

Skills that You Bring :

• Associate's degree in electronics from a two-year college.
• 0 years of experience
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment to component level.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Skills :

• Oracle data entry.
• Test stand use and undertanding.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills.
• Understanding of 6S and Lean methodology.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions :

• Abilty to lift, pull, and push 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Compensation and Benefits :

Pay Range : $19-22 / hr. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
