MKS Instruments is Hiring a Contracts Manager (Hybrid) Near Andover, MA
- The ideal candidate for this role will be located in the Eastern Time Zone, near our facilities in Andover, MA or Rock Hill, SC and be able to work in a hybrid fashion. Remote work arrangements are also an option.
You will make an impact by:
- Drafting, coordinating, reviewing, negotiating and maintaining agreements used in the sale of products and services.
- Managing the contracting process from end-to-end with internal business owners and stakeholders and external customers.
- Collaborating closely with various functions, including sales, legal, operations, finance and business units.
- Reviewing contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.
- Ensuring contract terms and conditions are negotiated in the best interest of MKS to mitigate business risk and maximize financial objectives.
- Establishing a standardized processes to ensure compliance with the internal policies, procedures, control standards and guidelines of the company.
- Delivering periodic commercial risks-related training to the sales and business teams.
- A bachelor’s degree or above or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract management preferably in a technology industry and in and international company
- Fluency in English, written and spoken. Fluency in German or French a plus.
- Excellent business judgment and problem-solving skills .
- Well-organized, flexible, pragmatic and solution-oriented with good business acumen, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to convey complex information that others can readily follow.
- A team player who is collaborative, proactive and self-motivated.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
