MKEC Engineering is Hiring a Professional Land Surveyor Near Oklahoma, OK

MKEC is looking for a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team at our Oklahoma City, Wichita, Overland Park and Tulsa locations. Duties include the preparation of topographic, property boundary and engineering design surveys and construction staking.

Responsibilities:

  • Topographic, ALTA, engineering design survey, property boundary and construction staking
  • Assisting in processing of survey data and drawing production.
  • Assist project team in meeting client expectations and schedules
  • Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to staff members
  • Point of contact for clients to ensure design meets their needs and objectives
  • Develop and maintain client relations
  • Assist in budget preparation and tracking
  • Overall project management

Requirements:

  • Experience with GPS, Total Station (robotic and/or conventional), laser levels and data collections systems is required
  • Autodesk or MicroStation product experience
  • PLS license in Oklahoma and/or Kansas is preferred (or the ability to obtain said license in a timely manner)
  • Must be willing to work in the office and in the field
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be willing to participate in drug screening program
  • Must be willing to maintain safety requirements, as required by client
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Knowledge of standard boundary reconciliation principles
  • Project manager of assigned surveys covering field work, mapping overview and budget adherence.
