Company Description: Hanwha Impact Partners is a member of Hanwha Group, a Fortune Global 500 company, and it engages in corporate development and investments in new energy and other growth industry. In 2018, Hanwha Impact Partners established its US entity that manages existing investment portfolio and also explore new opportunities. Within our new open workspace in the heart of San Francisco, just outside of the SOMA neighborhood, the candidate selected for this role will join the team to continue this mission.

Role Description: The candidate will be responsible for accounting and finance function and will report to CFO. Main duties of this position primarily involve;

• Maintain accounting records, perform monthly closing, and provide reports to management
• Responsible for the consolidated financials
• Responsible for all treasury functions including daily cash management and reconciliations
• Assist in preparing annual audit, tax filings and other projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local authorities and internal policies
• Develop ad-hoc reports to evaluate the company’s performance
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires a BA or BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study.
• 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance/accounting or another similar field.
• More than 2 years of GAAP or IFRS conversion experience is a plus
• Modeling and investment analysis experience is a plus
• Bilingual in Korean/English required
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent communication skills including face-to-face, verbal, and written communication.
• Individual must have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
• CPA, CFA or other qualifications, preferred.
• Investment Banking experience is a plus
