MK Periodontics & Implant Dentistry P.C. is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Nutley, NJ

Our office is looking to add a skilled dental receptionist to our team. In this role, you will serve as the chief point of contact for our patients. Having an upbeat attitude and professional demeanor is essential to our practice. You’ll greet patients, take their phone calls, and send out emails to ensure their needs are being met.

You will also help our office operate more effectively. This will include completing tasks like scheduling and canceling patient appointments, communicating with insurance providers, refilling office supplies, and filing documents, among others. Dental Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients who enter the office warmly
  • Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as needed
  • Assist patients in filling out required forms
  • Collect payment from patients
  • File insurance claims and track their progress
  • Maintain office inventory
  • Perform office duties such as document filing, scanning, and copying
  • Communicate with dental supply vendors, referring doctors and insurance companies

Dental Receptionist Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a dental office.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Professional and kind telephone etiquette.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Phone and in-person communication skills.
  • Time management and multitasking abilities.
  • An understanding of dental office procedures and workflow.
  • Computer literacy in basic applications like email and Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
