Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to our patients. Your role will involve managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various office tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect payments from patients and provide receipts
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality

Skills:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of medical scheduling systems such as Epic is a plus
