Title: Procurement Clerk, Inventory and Supplies

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Based at: Cedar Hill, Texas

Job Purpose: At MJB, we have combined people, products and technologies to offer the most innovative wood product solutions available in the market today. This position will provide purchasing support for manufacturing, customers (current and prospective) and suppliers.

Minimum Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and in procurement. Ideal candidate will be quality-driven, highly organized, possess initiative and a willingness to learn, and have some mechanical understanding. This individual must effectively order supplies for general wood processing equipment and any other parts needed to keep the manufacturing plant functioning. Ability to keep supplies inventory and support management in our Millwork, Cut to Size and Distribution departments. A common working knowledge of inventory and/or the ability to secure any inventory the individual is not familiar with.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Oversee the ordering of warehouse supplies working with the Parts Procurement Associate.

• Manage inventory of supplies and track purchase orders.

• Maintain supply inventory turns and all warehouse inventories; process inventory adjustments as needed

• Manage supplies stock list

• Computer skills

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once

• Be self-motivated, take initiative and prioritize work.

• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.

• Adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.

• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of MJB Wood.

• Other maintenance duties will be delegated as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
