Seeking legal secretary (at least 1 year experience) for fast-paced, growing insurance defense firm in Novi, MI. The office is a combination of young and experienced attorneys. Successful candidate will receive training in all office procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain attorney calendar
- Type dictation
- Compose various legal documents
- E-file pleadings
- Review and prioritize incoming mail
- Review and save incoming court e-filings
- Schedule depositions
Qualifications and Skills
- Organization skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
- College degree or legal secretary experience in insurance defense and/or successful completion of a legal secretary certificate program
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
