We are looking for a Global Supply Chain Analyst to assess new materials, model materials costs, conduct market research and build relationships with suppliers.

Description:

• Assess material vendors and products for technical compatibility, cost, scalability, and manufacturing consistency
• Develop should-cost models to understand production costs of materials
• Assess opportunities for new materials to improve our chemistry and commercialization
• Assess supply contracts and propose solutions to management
• Work cross functionally with commercial and technical teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of work experience or master's degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field
• Experience in supply chain analysis, data analysis, or business analytics
• Interest in materials science, renewable energy, battery technology, or fighting climate change
• Entrepreneurial spirit, scrappiness and ability to negotiate
• Interest in taking on an external facing role
• Ability to engage with other functions in a cross-disciplinary environment
• Organization and an analytical, data driven mindset
