What you'll do:

• Assisting with business unit month-end and year-end close;

• Preparing monthly journal entries and related support schedules;

• Preparing month-end balance sheet account reconciliations;

• Assisting with preparation of business unit financial statements;

• Maintaining and updating accounting policies and procedures;

• Providing data for annual budget;

• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets and software schedules in CCH;

• Analyzing general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Accounting required or related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis

• Up to 1 Year Entry level experience required. Previous experience in public accounting or manufacturing related accounting and reporting a plus.

• Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - External Agency/Certifier Certified Public Accountant preferred

Additional Requirements

• 10% Travel to domestic MiTek locations as needed.
