Missouri Cancer Associates is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner/ Urology Near Columbia, MO
Overview:
Nurse Practitioner (Full-Time / Production Bonus Plan / Urology /Columbia, MO)
This position is under the supervision or in collaboration with practice physicians, involved in the care of individuals, dealing with urological and related diagnosis. This care may be in clinic or virtually, via telemedicine. Responsibilities may include duties related to prevention, screening, and patient care. May serve as direct caregiver, health care consultant, or patient educator. Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards and requirements. Supports and adheres to the UACM Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
This position is full-time (8-4:30, Monday - Friday) and located at Urology Associates of Central MO, 105 Keene Street, Columbia, MO 65201

Urology Associates of Central Missouri is affiliated with Missouri Cancer Associates and the US Oncology Network!
Responsibilities:
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
Initiates and documents appropriate interventions; evaluates and records patient/family response and prescribes therapies as indicated.
Performs procedures with minimal supervision.
Assesses patient/family needs and provides education.
Promotes wellness and recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs.
Solid knowledge of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.
Completes patient charge capture and medical record documentation in a timely fashion.
May provide palliative care for the patient and their families as needed.
May promote/provide staff education.
Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program. RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. AOCNP preferred. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
