Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for surgery by assessing both their physical and emotional well-being, setting the stage for a successful procedure. During the post-operative phase, you will closely monitor the recovery process, ensuring that patients are stable and comfortable, and preparing them for discharge when they are ready. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A PACU RN

To excel in the role of a Part-Time Registered Nurse in the PACU at Missoula Bone & Joint and Surgery Center, candidates must possess a range of essential skills. Proficiency in IV starts, airway monitoring, and general nursing skills is crucial for providing top-quality patient care. Candidates must also have graduated from an accredited nursing program with either a Bachelors or Associates of Nursing Degree, along with holding a valid Montana RN License.

Additionally, certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, exceptional communication skills, and a strong attention to detail are also key attributes essential for success in this role.
