Our techs perform immunohematology reference work and consultations for our customer hospitals in a pleasant and low stress environment. In addition to reference work, our techs process samples for outsourced testing; evaluate laboratory data and test results; investigate and resolve process issues; assist with evaluation, validation and implementation of new technology and instrumentation

Duties:

• Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Medical Technologist at an acceptable level of proficiency at all times.
• Train Manufacturing and Distribution personnel.
• Perform document development and revisions (SOPs, training guides, job aides forms).
• Obtain operational and troubleshooting competency on lab equipment.
• Assist lab management-Lookbacks, product investigation, report to MS Department of Health, Variance Reporting and Investigations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) Laboratory Science field from four-year college or university, MT (ASCP or equivalent); plus 1 year related experience.
