The Medical Lab Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.

Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
Education: Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology; Bachelor's degree in medical technology or laboratory science or alternative qualification through a CLIA recognized experience and examination program.
Experience: One (1) year of Medical Laboratory experience is preferred; One (1) year of Medical Laboratory experience is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP), or CLT (NCA) or equivalent is required. BLS certification is preferred. Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Technologist, MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), HEW or CLT(NCA) is required.
