Overview

Assist Hotel Operations in ensuring guest satisfaction and safety by providing quality guest service. You will be the first impression our guests have as they enter the spa.

Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.

Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.

Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Provides impeccable guest service to all guests.
  • Schedule, check in, check out spa guests requesting services from the Spa and/or Salon restock, clean and maintain, retail area, open and close spa, maintain locker room, and cash register duties.
  • Ensure all equipment and amenities are in operating order and ready for the business day.
  • Giving tours, escorting guests, booking appointments, and assisting in maintaining cleanliness/restocking of Spa while consistently exhibiting excellence in guest service.
  • Ability to accurately guide guest in choices and complete sales transactions of Spa products and services.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, ability to multitask in busy environment.
  • Make sure all laundry is gathered, folded and restocked for area.
  • Assist in the Spa, Fitness Center or Salon as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

Qualifications

AGE and GAMING:

21 years of age or above.

Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED is preferred.

TESTING:

Must be able to pass the Basic Math Test with 85%. (Testing must be completed within 5 business days of applying for the position in order to be considered).

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess effective communication and organizational skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence. Ability to write basic instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Essential responsibilities include light to moderate physical ability, able to lift and maneuver twenty-five (25) to fifty (50) pounds, push or pull a minimum of seventy-five (75) pounds. Extensive bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling and stretching of arms may be required throughout the assigned shift. Stand and/or walk approximately 80% of assigned shift, sit approximately 20% of the shift.. Perform position requirements and/or essential functions on slippery or wet surfaces. Work with hazardous chemicals.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
