Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This is a vital role in our practice, as you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming environment.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's calendar
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services
- Verify insurance coverage
- Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or questions

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical receptionist role preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record software is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus
