Essential Responsibilities

• Reports to the CFO
• Leads Finance Team Portfolio Controllers and Functions, including:

1. Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department, but not limited to general ledger accounting and accounts payable.
2. Oversees and manages the financial operations ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
3. Oversees month-end and year-end financial close processes and reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy and deadlines are met.
4. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to the monthly variances.
5. Leads budgeting, including short- and long-term forecasting.
6. Leads and prepares annual financial statement review with external auditing firm, ensuring compliance with and completion by required deadlines.
7. Participates in annual cost report preparation with external firm, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
8. Manages tax preparation with external firm, including quarterly estimates and annual filings.

• Participates in the management and optimization of cash flow to meet daily operational needs.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Supervise and mentor accounting and finance team members.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects are requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Active CPA License
• 7 Years Accounting Experience
• 2 Years Progressive Leadership Experience

• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
