We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to contribute to our mission of excellence in fire protection. This position is based in Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside County.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM):

Conduct thorough ITM of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Documentation:

Complete detailed inspection reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and California Fire Code.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety regulations, including the proper use of safety equipment, to ensure a secure work environment.

Work Tickets:

Fill out work tickets completely and submit them upon completion of assigned tasks.

Time Management:

Clock in and clock out using the timekeeping app, managing work hours effectively.

Supervision and Training:

Work under limited supervision while training and coaching fire sprinkler apprentice(s).

Education and Meetings:

Attend training, safety, and education meetings to enhance knowledge of safety concerns and address related issues.

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge:

Familiarity with NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and California Fire Code.

License:

Valid driver’s license without restrictions.

Technical Skills:

Basic understanding of measurements and ability to read and understand inspection reports, product specifications, and fire codes.

Tools:

Complete knowledge of operating various electrical and mechanical tools.

Safety Practices:

Adherence to safety practices and availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Documentation and Communication:

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Problem-Solving:

Solve practical problems, set priorities, and meet deadlines with flexibility to work in various circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

5 years of fire sprinkler installation and ITM experience.

Certifications:

Valid Cal Fire fitter certification.

NICET Certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based System or Academy Exams Certification (a plus).

Skills:

Complete knowledge of safely operating a pipe threading machine.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stay on feet all day.

Lift/carry 50 pounds with no fear of climbing or heights.

Work in elevated areas for extended periods.

Stamina for consistent tasks such as lifting, reaching, climbing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, and bending.

Repetitive hand and finger movements (simple and power).

Operate foot controls or repetitive foot movement.

Ability to work under any weather condition in outdoor and indoor environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
