We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage the construction and installation of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant safety codes and regulations. The Fire Sprinkler Construction Superintendent will play a crucial role in leading project teams, coordinating activities, and maintaining a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:Lead and manage fire sprinkler construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Foster a safety-conscious culture and enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, timelines, and expectations.

Quality Assurance:Oversee the installation and testing of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.

Collaboration:Liaise with project architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address design-related issues and ensure project success.
Coordinate closely with internal departments, such as design and engineering, to optimize project workflows.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change orders.
Generate regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler construction or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, and standards, with a focus on the Canadian regulatory environment.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • HS Diploma

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in fire protection or construction management are a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
