GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This is a professional position that promotes the philosophy of psychosocial rehabilitation as set forth by the State Medicaid requirements, the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD), and by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (USPRA). The person in this position is responsible for the management and supervision of Clubhouse staff, coordinating with the supported and transitional employment program, including the staff and daily operations. The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Manager integrates the clubhouse and transitional employment philosophy with all of the services provided by the Adult Services Division and works collaboratively with all areas of the agency. This position functions with a great deal of independence as well as being an integral member of a professional team and is under the general guidance and supervision of the Adult Services Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Supervise New Direction Clubhouse staff
• Recommend best course of action to provide most appropriate services to consumers making referrals to other services, as needed
• Maintain contact with state and county officials regarding Clubhouse operation
• Maintain contact with other MI Clubhouses via networking and attendance at MI Association of Clubhouses (MAC) meetings
• Ensure compliance with state and county Medicaid requirements
• Responsible for supervision, training, evaluation, and discipline of all program staff
• Responsible for ensuring and monitoring employee compliance with direct service, productivity, and documentation standards per agency and program expectations
• Coordinate team meetings, clinical staffing, in-service and other training
• Provide direction to Clubhouse staff in matters of case management and clinical treatment of consumer members

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related degree from an accredited school
• Supervisory and administrative skills and experience preferred
• Clubhouse/PSR experience required with International Clubhouse training preferred
• Valid MI license and ability to meet agency’s insurance company’s standards for coverage

SALARY: Commensurate with Experience
