Misericordia is currently hiring a Residential Director for our Quinlan Terrace Homes. Misericordia Directors provide overall leadership for their area. This includes overseeing active treatment programming, resident/family concerns, vocational and work activities, budgetary concerns, physical plant and environmental concerns, personnel issues and training, and regulatory concerns. The ideal candidate ensures the health, safety, and welfare of all residents in an atmosphere which promotes quality, respect, and dignity of the person while leading a high performing team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or a closely related field preferred
• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, State of Illinois preferred
• Committed to providing quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience in a residential setting
• Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and adaptability
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Supervisory experience required
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Ability to be on call 24 hours per day
• Proficiency with technology and data collection
