General Summary

A Press Brake operator should have knowledge of the operation, preventative maintenance, reading blue prints, customer specifications, set up, and following inspection methods. The Press Brake operator will work closely with other operators within the team to achieve established goals and objectives. The Press Brake operator will work to maintain continuous process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance for assigned equipment
• Proper set up of Press Brake machine
• Accurate interpretation of blue prints and customer specifications
• Selecting and loading tooling and materials
• Insure that quality inspection criteria are being followed for all parts cut
• Insure accuracy of transactions,
• Follow SWI, processes and procedures
• Complies with EHS requirements
• Support fellow team members to achieve company goal and objectives
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Understanding of set up and operation of the Press Brake machinery

• Read blueprints and customer specifications
• Math, reading and computer skills to support duties and responsibilities
• Mechanical aptitude

Credentials and Experience

• Training and experience on Press Brake equipment is preferred but may train
• May be required to be certified on a Forklift or Crane (Supervisor Decision)

Special Requirements

• Willingness to work overtime and a variety of shifts
• Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
• Standing for long periods, bending, stretching, twisting and stooping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
