Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform a wide range of marine repairs, which could include diagnostics, complex repairs, and electrical work.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections in service to our guests
  • Maintain a safe and productive working environment
  • Maintain professionalism
  • Keep shop in clean, working order
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • 2 years as a Marine Shop Technician or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of marine systems, engines, and components.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the marine industry.
  • Positive attitude
  • Desire to serve others
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Technical certification or relevant degree in marine mechanics is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on boats lifted above your head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the boats needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for most of the workday
