Minnesota Autism Center is Hiring a Clinical Director/Qualified Supervising Professional Near Minnetonka, MN

Position: Director of QSP

Reports to: Vice President of Clinical Operations

FLSA Classification: Full-time, Exempt

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for managing the overall functions of Qualified Supervising Professionals/mental health professionals and Clinical Trainees. This includes supervising operations of the department in collaboration with the Vice President of Clinical Operations. The Director will oversee and drive strategy within the clinical area. This is a leadership position with the expectation to serve as a mentor and coach to the clinical team in addition to holding oneself and the team to the highest, ethical standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self-motivated to enhance clinical expertise provided for clients, families, and staff.
  • Innovative mind set to create new, effective solutions.
  • Must have superior problem solving and decision-making skills as well as strong analytical skills.
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to facilitate and lead group collaboration.
  • Effective leadership skills including goal setting and quality assurance.
  • Master’s degree in behavioral science or related field (Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Sociology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Services, Child Development, etc.)
  • Preferred licensure in the state of Minnesota in any of the following: LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver and manage adequate and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Oversight of clinical supervision including mental health practitioners, practicum students and licensure track candidates
  • Consults with individual clinicians to promote staff development and to aid in case consultation.
  • Assesses quality and competency of clinician’s documentation and delivery of services.
  • Management of psychotherapy services.
  • Determining quality and productivity of services provided by the mental health professionals.
  • Collaborate with members of administrative and clinical teams to assure the most effective therapeutic interventions are being utilized.
  • Implement and drive MAC’s strategic plan in the areas that apply to the clinical sector.
  • Obtain a caseload to ensure continued up to date practices and procedures.
  • Uphold Minnesota State Statutes and ethical approaches for therapeutic services.
