Mineral Labs Inc (an environmental analytical laboratory) is looking for an analyst to perform various tasks within our coal laboratory. We are in need of someone that is flexible, self-driven, and willing/eager to learn all the aspects of an environmental laboratory.
Specifically, we are looking for someone that is motivated to learn/retain various techniques and doesn't mind the repetitive nature of lab work. Efficient, detail oriented, candidates with good communication skills are preferred. Math proficiency, as well as experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other technologies is required. Precedence will be given to applicants with a formal educational background, including but not limited to those with degrees in math, science, and engineering related fields.
You must be able to work both independently and with others. We perform a variety of EPA and Standard Methods so attention to detail is critical.
This position is currently available as a full time opening. Attendance is crucial to this position. Overtime and weekends may be required.
