Senior Brand Strategist (5-7 years of strategy/account planning experience)

Job Responsibilities:As a Senior Brand Strategist, we count on you to inspire and lead brand and communication strategy on assigned brands and to direct multi-phase strategy projects. Having a visibly consistent and active presence with lead clients is critical. Developing a strong relationship with our client’s research department will also be important. The work involves leading our efforts to generate, organize and present strategic intelligence and insights that inform and propel our client’s business and brands. The role includes spearheading the strategy process for the agency’s new business efforts.

Some specific responsibilities include:

• Lead agency-wide participation (all agency departments) in the development of brand and communication strategy applying m a’s strategic process and new business approach. 
• Lead agency brand teams on identifying strategy opportunities with client and ensure strategy project deadlines our met.
• Apply (and create) strategic thinking tools and frameworks to help inform brand, business and communication strategy. (Both upstream and downstream)
• Prepare and lead all brand positioning and identity efforts.
• Lead all efforts connected to creative brief development: writing, compelling briefings, storytelling and presentation.
• Conduct/facilitate various client/agency work sessions designed to generate, evaluate and select brand and business specific problems and corresponding strategies.
• Lead research design and execution of agency-led qualitative market research
• Together with our analytic colleagues, guide and develop key customer profiles
• Coach and supervise brand strategists and junior strategists learning the art and science of brand analysis and strategy development.
