Data Quality Analyst - Only W2
Duration: 12 months (possible extension or conversion)
Location: Hybrid with onsite requirement – 3 days onsite in Tampa, FL 33610
As a Data Quality Analyst (Sr. Analyst), you will ensure data meets required quality standards. You will handle moderately complex issues, weighing various alternatives using multiple information sources. Your role involves evaluating data challenges, providing recommendations, and collaborating with diverse teams to develop industry-standard practices.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Enterprise Chief Data Office to develop guidelines for Data Certification and Quality management.
- Identify data patterns, perform data quality analytics, and address data challenges.
- Contribute to Data Quality resolution strategies.
- Assist in data improvement initiatives as per the Data Governance Policy.
- Collaborate with Transaction Monitoring, Trade Surveillance, and other teams throughout data quality projects.
- Address Audit and Regulatory feedback.
- Report Data Quality issues and coordinate efforts for data requirements from strategic repositories.
- Liaise with various firm areas to understand data challenges and solutions, supporting data quality rules and requirements.
- Perform financial reconciliation and measure Data Quality.
- Define business requirements documents to resolve Data Quality issues.
- Lead project management activities.
- Support senior management’s strategic vision.
- Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with rules, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Collibra and Data Governance tools.
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL.
- Familiar with Tableau and JIRA.
- Understanding of Database structures.
- Ability to perform sophisticated analysis to develop innovative solutions.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, capable of working well with others to achieve objectives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
