Mind and Mobility Home Care Centers, a premier home health and outpatient therapy provider in South Florida, is looking for an experienced, dependable intake coordinator to work in our Boca location. This is a 40 hour position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Cheerfully greeting clients when they arrive to the clinic
*Answering phones
*Communicating with staff including therapists and care coordinators to ensure quality care for the clients
*Scheduling patient appointments
*Collecting copays from patients
*Scanning documents into the EMR system
*Collecting patient's intake information and verifying insurance benefits
This position requires strong written and verbal skills as well as proper phone etiquette. The scheduling coordinator must be able to multi-task and work cohesively as a member of the Mind and Mobility team. One-year experience working in an outpatient therapy office or home health agency preferred.
Hours: 8:30-4:30PM
Requirements
1 years working in an outpatient therapy office or home health agency
1 year experience verifying Medicare/insurance benefits
Experience utilizing an Electronic Medical Records system
Proficiency with Microsoft office
Proficient computer skills
