The Milwaukee Jewish Day School (MJDS) is a private school located in the North Shore of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The school serves students in grades K3-8. Our staff is a mix of people who identify as Jewish and people who don’t. All are welcome.

Summary: The Financial Assistant is responsible for the purchasing and accounts payable functions, some human resource functions, and works closely with the Business Administrator to support the financial operations of the school.

High Level Responsibilities:

• Lead purchasing and accounts payable functions
• Provide accounting support
• Support the preparation for annual financial audit
• Maintain and coordinate employee benefits
• Coordinate business insurance renewals
• Partner with the Business Administrator in the school’s financial operations
