Milwaukee Excellence Inc is Hiring a High School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher Near Milwaukee, WI

The High School ELA Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering effective instruction in English and writing to students that instills a love for literacy and supports students’ understanding of real world application while setting students up for success beyond high school. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping students' language and communication skills. The successful candidate fosters a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student understanding and proficiency in English and writing concepts. The High School ELA Teacher will utilize assessment data to determine progress against instructional objectives and will utilize instructional strategies and differentiated instruction to support all students to achieve their goals. In this position, the High School ELA Teacher will also work collaboratively with staff members, administrators, families, and other stakeholders to support students to achieve. The High School ELA Teacher will serve as a knowledgeable expert in the subject matter, employing and implementing a comprehensive English/Writing curriculum while fostering a love for literature and nurturing effective writing abilities among all students. The successful candidate will also possess effective communication skills, adaptability, and a zest for helping students succeed in mathematics while fostering a positive attitude toward reading and writing and encouraging lifelong learning.
