Summary:

The Senior Manager, Special Event Ticketing will work alongside the Director, Special Event Ticketing to assist with oversight of all department staff, policies and procedures. This role will help be responsible for and lead the setup, maintenance, execution and settlement of all ticketed non-Bucks events at Fiserv Forum. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build concerts, family shows, sporting events and ancillary events on the Ticketmaster host and Archtics ticketing systems.
  • Is responsible for inventory management from the onsale through event settlement and financial reconciliation for assigned events and assisting with oversight of all events.
  • Prepare events for on-sale by confirming and configuring event details including: manifests, seating plans, price structures; marketing partner, artist/fan club, record label and other presales; internal, VIP, ticket agent and other holds and allocations; and booking fees, ticket stock and text.
  • Coordinate with Arena Marketing on all event ticket sales/date information for advance, on-sales, “know before you go”, and general event marketing
  • Setup marketing promotions on the Ticketmaster and Archtics ticketing systems, from event inception through to financial reconciliation.
  • Manage ticketed events from inception to settlement and act as main point of contact for promoter for assigned events.
  • Assist with the creation, development and evaluation of seating manifests for Fiserv Forum.
  • Support the daily financial reporting and reconciliation of events as required.
  • Analyze sales trends on all events throughout the onsale period and make recommendations on pricing/production both internally and to the promoter.
  • Establish excellent working relations with concert promoters, other internal departments, Bucks and Marquette Basketball.
  • Assist the ticketing department with the handling of all internal ticket allotments and allocations as required.
  • Maintain open dialogue between all ticket operations staff to ensure the ticket office is well staffed and equipped to handle the needs of all events.
  • Coordinate customer service inquiries and intensified customer issues related to special events.
  • Assist with access control and part-time management responsibilities on event days.
  • Be responsible for the hiring, training, management and pay roll of the part time ticketing staff (ticket sellers, ticket seller leads and ticket resolution)
  • Work with potential promoters in creating scalings for events using past data and sales trends. 
  • Work with the Director, Special Event Ticketing to orchestrate implementation and updates for all ticketing related technology used at Fiserv Forum (ticketing vendor, access management etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent experience.
  • A minimum four to six (4-6) years computerized ticket operations experience, preferably in an Arena environment.
  • At least 4 years’ experience with Ticketmaster – Archtics, Host, TM1, and other TM tools.
  • Adept computer skills, including all programs in the Microsoft Office suite and online software.
  • Shown experience in learning new technologies with a proven ability to be a resourceful, hardworking and innovative problem solver.
  • Ability to operate independently take initiative, and apply critical thinking to make sound decisions
  • Demonstrated ability and experience developing and coordinating multi-faceted event plans and problem-solving issues
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment at a high level
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to successfully communicate with the public, employees and vendors using verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and handle conflict independently.
  • Significant successful ticket operations management experience.
  • Strong math proficiency and high level of attention to details.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
